Biography
My name is Radovan Derman. I was born in Serbia, 1987. In 2002 I came to Chicago. Right before I moved to Chicago I had finished 8th grade. In 2006 I graduated from Glenbrook South High School. I'm currently enrolled at the University of Illinois at Chicago studying graphic design. I grew up without computers around me. When I was younger I would always be outside running around; never thinking that one day I will be so much into computers. My parents always encouraged me to go to school and one day to become my own man.
When I moved to USA is when I started using computer extensively. My interest in graphic design was born when I took a Web Developing class in High School. After being exposed to art and design, I discovered that it is something that I really enjoy. I was exposed to a new passion, creating digital art. I started researching different types of art and developing my skills to make art on the computer. Finally I've gotten the chance to show my work and skills on my very own website.
In my spare time you will find me lifting weights, on the basketball court, or the soccer field. I've recently picked up photography and moving image as a new hobby and hope to pursue it further. I am also interested in going to medical school, getting my paramedic license in pursue to become a firefighter.
